This huge 22.56 troy ounce (701.7 Grams) Museum Grade Natural Gold Nugget was recently discovered in Sonora State in Mexico. It is rare to see such a huge gold nugget from Mexico. It was found in July of 2017 in Northern Senora, Mexico, by a rancher/gold prospector (called a "Gambusino" in Mexico) using a Minelab metal detector. It was found not far from where the famous 389 troy ounce "Boot of Cortez" nugget was found.
It measures 3.4" (8.5 cm) long x 2.8" (7.3 cm) wide x 7/8" (2 cm) thick. It is huge and fills your palm. It is awesome how good it feels to have all that gold weight sitting in your hand. The gold is a gorgeous buttery golden color and is very pure. From the color of the gold I estimate the purity at 22KT to 23KT (92% to 98% pure). It is super clean and free from host rock and mineralization and it is a truly gorgeous nugget. One of the nicest nuggets I have seen come out of Mexico.
This is a very rare opportunity to add this exceptionally rare and huge gold nugget to your collection. You can be the proud owner of an extremely rare museum grade gold specimen from Mexico.
