This is a gorgeous and huge Museum Grade Natural Gold in Quartz Specimen from Sonora State in Mexico. It weighs 29.61 troy ounces (920.9 Grams) and it has 10.9 troy ounces (338.9 Grams) of contained gold. It measures 4.5" (11.5 cm) wide x 3.75" (9.5 cm) high x 2" (5 cm) thick. . The gold sticking out of the quartz is gorgeous crystalline gold, rarely seen in Mexico. You can see some rare gold crystals among the crystalline gold, along with leaf gold and wire gold. A very rare and spectacular find. The gold is a gorgeous buttery golden color and is very pure. From the color of the gold I estimate the purity at 22KT to 23KT (92% to 98% pure). It was found in Northern Senora State in Mexico, near the town of Caborca, by a rancher/gold prospector (called a "Gambusino" in Mexico) using a Minelab metal detector. It was found in the same general area that the famous 389 troy ounce "Boot of Cortez" nugget was found.
This is a very rare opportunity to add this exceptionally rare and huge gold in quartz specimen to your collection. You can be the proud owner of an extremely rare museum grade crystalline gold specimen from Mexico.
