Brilliant Yellow Gold Atop White Quartz - 4.90 grams

I have always been a big fan of gold nuggets and gold specimens that still have native quartz attached. Most all natural gold is associated with quartz but often times, the quartz has been worn away by the natural elements and time as the quartz is soft and erodes. Gold that is found with natural quartz is often found near or at the source and has not moved much from where it originally formed. I hand select these pieces from the miners and prospectors and choose only the best ones for the website. Gold is nine times heavier in quartz.
