Brilliant Wire Gold Specimen - 10 Mile Mining Claims, Nevada

This is a brilliant wire gold specimen from the 10 Mile Mining Claims in Nevada. A beautiful bright orange gold color and magnificent crystallization. If you're familiar with the nuggets and specimen gold that comes from Nevada, you know that about 90% of it comes from the Winnemucca area near the Eugene Mountains. The rest of the state, with the exception of a few locations, recovers gold through low grade gold ore. The 10 Mile Claims lay northeast of the Eugene Mountains and have recovered many great gold specimens over the years.
