If all the platinum that has ever been mined could be brought together and melted into a cube, it would fit in a two car garage. Most platinum is microscopic particles that are extracted from ore. Platinum nuggets are extremely rare and platinum is the heaviest of the four precious metals and very dense. I have a small collection that I was able to acquire from a single prospector who has been prospecting in South America his entire life near Choco, Columbia.
