Museum Grade 4.95 OZ Gold & Quartz Specimen. The Christmas Tree

You can see why this museum grade 154 Gram Gold in Quartz Specimen is called "The Christmas Tree". It has a very distinct shape and it is loaded with sparking crystalline gold. This is the kind of gold in quartz that jewelers slice into thin slabs to make gold in quartz jewelry costing thousands of dollars, but this one is just too spectacular to slice up. It comes from the Prescott Vein of the Badger Mine in Mariposa County, California. This is a rare location and you almost never see a gold specimen from this location for sale. The weight is 154 Grams (4.95 Troy Ounces) and the size is 4" x 2.5" x 1.2". You can see that it is loaded with gold and with gold weighing 9 times more than quartz there is a lot of gold in this specimen. It is a really gorgeous gold specimen and would be the focal point of any high quality mineral collection.
