This is one very gorgeous crystalline gold in quartz specimen from the famous Harvard Mine in Jamestown, California. I think this is the most beautiful gold in quartz specimen from the Harvard Mine that I have ever seen. It is not often that you see such a beautiful gold specimen. This one belongs in a museum. The quartz is white with some light gray accents, and it is loaded with brilliant, gorgeous crystalline gold running through the specimen. This amazing gold in quartz specimen weighs 12 Grams and is 1.3" long x 3/4" wide x 3/4" thick. The Harvard Mine has been closed since 1994 so gold specimens from this location are not often offered for sale, certainly not a drop dead gorgeous specimen like this one.
