A very unique specimen from Olinghouse considering the mine was famous for its wire gold specimens. This leaf gold is quite different for this location and a brilliant leaf gold with multiple trigon formations on the surface of both sides.
The Olinghouse Gold Mine in Washoe County is world famous for the unique and intricate wire gold specimens that were found there during its time in operation. The Mine has been closed for nearly twenty years and the specimens I have from this location come from the previous mine manager.
