This rare gold crystal specimen from Venezuela is the largest gold crystal I have from this location. It is hoppered and is shaped like a Dodo-Bird except it is standing on it's head. You can see the distinct shape of this gorgeous gold specimen. The color and texture of this one-of-a-kind gold nugget is amazing. It was recovered by miners working in the jungle of Venezuela in Zapata, just outside of Ikabaru, near Santa Elena de Uairen in Venezuela. These gold crystals are called "cochanos" in Venezuela. This unique and distinctly shaped gold specimen is 7/8" (23 mm) long and it weighs 8.78 Grams (135.5 Grains).
