Gold in Quartz is crystalline gold nuggets that are still attached to their host rock, which is usually quartz. Gold in quartz is the result of hard rock mining, where veins of gold are blasted apart exposing the gold laden quartz within the vein. Gold veins that are so rich in gold that the gold is visible to the naked eye are very rare, and veins so rich that they produce the type of gold in quartz specimens that you see below are so rare that there are very few locations world wide that produce any quantity of gold in quartz specimens.
We have quite a few gold in quartz specimens from Australia. It is not that often that you see gold in quartz specimens from Australia for sale in any quantity. That is because most of the gold in quartz found in Australia has ironstone attached to it along with the quartz, or the ironstone or other minerals present in the quartz have so badly stained the quartz that it is not attractive and the prospector will typically use acid to burn away the unattractive mineral stained quartz. I was able to find some very attractive gold in quartz specimens from Australia years ago and now I am offering them for sale here. My quantity is very limited, so get some while they are available.
You will see that most of the gold in quartz specimens below are loaded with gold, and I have priced them very reasonably for the amount of gold they contain. Considering the high quality of my specimens, they are definitely priced to sell.
